About the venue: A gastropub and lounge rated 4.3 from around 810 reviews, mid-priced, open from 4pm to 2am Monday to Friday — generous hours. Reviewers describe the space as split into two sides, one a cigar lounge and one non-smoking, with food served on both, plus a patio overlooking Sunset. It is listed as a live music and event venue. One reviewer notes the domed ceiling in the back room carries conversation further than expected.

Getting there: The venue is on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, on the Sunset Strip. There is no Metro rail serving the Strip, so arrival is by car or rideshare — the usual approach in this part of Los Angeles. A parking lot at 8801 West Sunset is a minute's walk, and the venue sits at the Sunset–Holloway split, an easy landmark to direct people to.
