MAKE A PILLOW. MEET YOUR HEART. FIND YOUR PEOPLE.

Join Every BODY Deserves Love (EBDL), Dr. Marcia Martin, and leaders from the LGBTQ+ business community for an interactive Self-Love Pillow Day in West Hollywood.

This isn't just about making a pillow.

Together, we'll use the creative process to experience EBDL's 7 Stages of Self-Love:

Belonging → Awareness → Stabilization → Acceptance → Self-Leadership → Purpose → Connection

As you create your own Self-Love Pillow, you'll be invited to slow down, check in with your heart, reflect on what you're carrying, connect with others, and explore practices that can help you return to yourself during challenging seasons.

Your finished pillow becomes more than something you made. It's a physical reminder of what you discovered, chose, and experienced along the way.

Experience guided Heart Healing practices and moments of reflection designed to help you become more aware of what your heart may be asking for.

🧵 Create Your Own Self-Love Pillow
Choose your materials, personalize your pillow, and build meaning into it as we move through the experience together. No sewing experience is required.

🌱 Explore the 7 Stages of Self-Love
Discover EBDL's framework for understanding self-love as an ongoing journey through Belonging, Awareness, Stabilization, Acceptance, Self-Leadership, Purpose, and Connection.

🤝 Find Your People
Meet LGBTQ+ community and business leaders and other people interested in creating more heart-centered lives and communities.

🥗 Share Around the Table
We're encouraging a community potluck-style experience. Bring a favorite snack, dish, dessert, or non-alcoholic beverage to share if you'd like.

This gathering is also an EBDL fundraiser.

Proceeds support EBDL's work to create inclusive, heart-centered spaces for healing and community.

Your participation helps us continue building spaces where people can experience belonging, develop greater awareness, practice tools for navigating challenging moments, discover their purpose, and build meaningful connection.

YOUR HEART HEALING JOURNEY CAN CONTINUE

Self-love doesn't happen in one afternoon—and it doesn't always happen in a straight line.

You may be exploring Purpose one day and find yourself needing Stabilization the next. You may feel deeply connected and later find yourself questioning where you belong.

During the event, we'll also introduce the Heart Healing Collective, an ongoing EBDL community created to give people a place to continue practicing Heart Healing, reflection, and connection beyond Pillow Day.

Pillow-making materials are provided.

Parking: Street parking is available, or guests may use the King's Road Municipal Parking Structure nearby.

Come as you are.

All pillow-making materials will be provided. You're encouraged to bring a dish, snack, dessert, or non-alcoholic beverage to contribute to our community potluck.
