Little Weavers Studio

Join us for Little Weavers Studio at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center.

This free Community Saturday invites young children to slow down and work with their hands. Each child will choose a small branch or cardboard loom, then weave yarn, ribbon, fabric strips, and natural pieces over and under to make something entirely their own.

Weaving is quiet, repetitive work that young children love. It builds finger strength, patience, and pattern awareness, and it gives children a chance to notice how a few simple choices become a whole piece.

Adults are welcome to weave alongside their children. Families will get a glimpse into how Little Nestlings uses real materials and open ended time to support focus and creative thinking.
