LAB | Pilates, Yoga & Meditation

Bring your coursework into practice at SOBIS EDGE in Downtown Wheaton. LAB is a supportive studio experience where students explore techniques, practice teaching, and receive personalized feedback from Michelle Rae Sobi.

Across Pilates, Yoga, and Meditation, these sessions give you time to work with what you’re learning. Ask questions, revisit material, and develop your understanding through guided practice. Each lab connects classroom concepts with the practical skills involved in leading others.

PRACTICE YOUR SKILLS

Explore movement, breath, alignment, and mindful awareness within your area of study. Work on clear instructions, thoughtful sequencing, and the use of equipment or props where appropriate. Learn to observe the person in front of you and consider how to adapt your approach to their needs.

DEVELOP YOUR TEACHING

Practice sharing what you know in a setting that welcomes questions and refinement. Take turns participating, observing, and teaching as you develop your voice and gain experience guiding others. Feedback helps you recognize your strengths and identify what needs more attention.

CONNECT YOUR LEARNING

LAB supports the progression from studying a technique to practicing it and teaching it. Whether your focus is Pilates, Yoga, or Meditation, you’ll have opportunities to connect ideas across disciplines while respecting the distinct methods of your program.

LEARN WITH SUPPORT

Study closely with Michelle Rae Sobi and learn alongside fellow students. Bring your questions, curiosity, and willingness to practice. You do not need to have everything mastered before you arrive.
