Even here in Connecticut, there are endangered and threatened species who are living on the verge of extinction. Connecticut Children's Museum will be bringing animal ambassadors whose wild counterparts need our help to survive. At this AMP Family Day, we investigate why some animals become extinct while others thrive. Featured animals could include such rare animals as the a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, a Spotted Turtles, a Cane Toad, a Chinchilla, and the Radiated Tortoise.
Walk-ins are welcome, but registering helps us plan ahead.
AMP's Family Days are supported by the generosity of The Comis Foundation and Torrington Bank.
