Yoga in the Garden

Join us for yoga in the Garden in the midst of the beautiful Mead Botanical Garden. Take part in the opportunity to truly connect with yourself and nature.

When:

Saturdays @ 9:00AM

Wednesdays @ 6:00PM

Location: meet on The Grove Stage 10 minutes prior to start time. (Follow the shell stone path to the left of the public restrooms north to the Grove Stage.) (See map for location)

*In the case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Discovery Barn at Mead Botanical Garden (Located in the building across from the Grove Stage).

What to bring: A yoga mat and water

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY (READ CAREFULLY)

By purchasing a ticket, I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. Participation in yoga class includes, but is not limited to, meditation techniques, yoga breathing techniques and performing various yoga postures. Yoga is designed to exercise every part of the body-stretching and toning the muscles and joints, spine and the entire skeletal system. Yoga incorporates sustained stretching to strengthen the muscles and increase flexibility.

As in the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, disability or death, is always present. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the instructor.

Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. This class involves outdoor physical activity in warm weather conditions. Those with medical conditions should obtain approval from their attending physician before participating in this class. By signing this agreement, participants with health conditions are confirming that they have consulted with an appropriate physician and received clearance to participate.

I am participating in the yoga class at my own risk.

In consideration of being permitted to engage in the above activity, I hereby ASSUME THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH AND I, FOR MY HEIRS, EXECUTORS, REPRESENTATIVES AND ADMINISTRATORS, HEREBY AGREE TO IRREVOCABLY RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE MEAD BOTANICAL GARDEN INC., THE CITY OF WINTER PARK, INSTRUCTOR, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, FEES, SUITS, PROCEEDINGS, CAUSES OF ACTION, COST OF ACTIONS, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES, FOR TRIAL AND APPEAL, WHICH I MAY HAVE AGAINST THEM ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH MY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY LISTED ABOVE. • The designated meeting location is provided in the event description. Please arrive by the program's start time so you do not miss or interrupt class. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.

• Full refund may be issued if we are notified 72 hours prior to class.
• NO REFUNDS will be issued less than 72 hours prior to class.
• If you can no longer attend your scheduled class and would like to transfer your ticket to a future class, please notify us at least 72 hours prior . You may only transfer to a class based on open availability.
• If the instructor or Mead Botanical Garden, Inc. needs to cancel class for any reason a full refund will be issued to participants.
