Fall Friends of Woodsock Public Library Walking Tour

This is not your run-of-the-mill walking tour! Join Anthony, local resident and events manager for the award-winning walking tour company Chicago for Chicagoans, to explore what's north of Woodstock's historic square. We will be exploring the "Spring City Addition" to Woodstock, and learning about architectural styles and trends in town and the time periods that influenced the design of Woodstock's historic homes, early industries that shaped the community, discuss the various ethnic groups that have come to call Woodstock home, and future projects that aim to redefine Woodstock. This pay-what-you-can walking tour benefits Friends of Woodstock Public Library and all proceeds will support our library's programs and services for the community. This approximately 1.7-mile tour is designed to encourage all residents and visitors to explore all of Woodstock, not just the historic town square.
