As part of H.O.P.E. Week, the Day of Service will focus on compassion in action by reaching individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout the City of Columbia.
Our Homeless Services Outreach Team will revisit high-impact areas identified in the 2025 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count to distribute survival packs and connect people with vital services.
This outreach initiative invites community members, volunteers, faith groups, and organizations to come together in service by assembling and distributing hygiene kits filled with essentials such as:
After assembling the kits, volunteers will have the opportunity to join the Outreach Team in safely distributing these resources directly to our neighbors most in need.
This is more than service — it’s a chance to build connections, share kindness, and spread hope across our city.
Together, we can make a lasting impact!
