Cricut & Creative Design Getaway

Get away from the everyday routine and spend two creative days at Murray Grove Retreat Center learning new skills, creating personalized projects, meeting other creative people, and having some fun along the way.

Create, Craft & Connect is more than a Cricut class—it's a creative retreat.

Whether you're completely new to Cricut or already enjoy crafting, you'll have the opportunity to learn at your own pace while creating projects you'll actually want to take home.

DAY ONE — LEARN & CREATE

We'll start with the fundamentals:

✂️ Cricut Design Space basics

🎨 Creating and customizing designs

👕 Heat-transfer vinyl and custom apparel

👜 Personalized bags and accessories

🎁 Holiday gifts and decorations

🔥 Applying and finishing your designs

After lunch, we'll move into hands-on project sessions where you'll begin creating your own personalized items.

DINNER & CRAFT AFTER DARK

After dinner, the studio stays open!

Enjoy music, games, conversation, and an evening of relaxed crafting.

Finish a project, start something completely new, exchange ideas with other participants, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Then settle in for an overnight stay at Murray Grove.

DAY TWO — DESIGN YOUR OWN

After learning the basics on Day One, Day Two is about taking your creativity further.

Participants will explore layering, different materials, more advanced designs, troubleshooting common Cricut challenges, and creating projects from their own ideas.

We'll finish with a fun Creative Design Challenge, where participants will have an opportunity to create something completely original.
