About this event:
The federal grant landscape is changing faster than most organizations can track. Grant Ready Guam is a free six-session training series for nonprofits, childcare providers, faith-based groups, village offices, and small businesses that already hold grant funding — or plan to — and want to manage it with confidence.
Presented by Pioneer Management Group and hosted by the Office of the Mayor, Chalan Pago-Ordot, the series runs three consecutive weeks in November:
Week 1 — Grant Writing Foundations (Nov 9–10)
What grants management really is, how to find the right opportunity, and how to write an application you can actually deliver.
Week 2 — Post-Award & Government Systems (Nov 16–17)
Reading your award, building the reimbursement file that gets paid, and navigating Government of Guam procurement and DOA processes.
Week 3 — Compliance, Audit Readiness & Disaster Resilience (Nov 23–24)
Reporting, monitoring, closeout, audits — and an introduction to FEMA Public Assistance: who's eligible, what it covers, and what documentation must exist before the next storm.
