In America today, we're more disconnected and disembodied than ever. We spend our days in front of screens, rarely moving, quietly overwhelmed, and holding onto stress and emotion we don't always realize we're carrying. So many of us have grown to fear physical connection, a fundamental human need. In the wake of the pandemic and an epidemic of loneliness, we've become more sharply aware that we are starved for presence, community, and physical connection.
Fortunately, it doesn't have to be that way. We can come back to ourselves, to our hearts, to community, and the parts of us that we have been disconnected from through safe, non-sexual touch, movement, somatics, and shared presence.
Join us for our second annual Embodiment & Movement Weekend, a weekend-long community event designed to create a connective and safe place to explore, learn, and connect through 30 different embodiment and movement modalities and consent work. There will also be opportunities to receive bodywork and energy work from different practitioners in the community.
This is a space to soften what's been hardened, to move what's been stuck, and to remember what it feels like to belong: in your body, and in community.
Friday evening: $20–30 sliding scale
Full weekend pass: $70–$85 sliding scale
Saturday or Sunday full day: $40–$50 sliding scale
